When September rolls around I always am (not so patiently) waiting for the weather to catch up so I can pull out my favorite fall pieces from my closet. Of course I can’t wait to start adding new pieces to my fall wardrobe, but these tops and dresses aren’t going anywhere.
This wrap sweater with fringe detail is the perfect piece to throw over a top with a pair of jeans or over a tank shift dress to transition it from a summer to fall appropriate outfit. I wore this over a navy shift dress for family photos last fall with a pair of booties and to be honest, it is still one of my favorite outfits I have pieced together.
A comfy top is a necessity for all wardrobes and this one is the perfect shade of crimson for fall. Not only is it similar to the color of some of the falling leaves, but it is the color that makes me think the most about football (Roll Tide). The material and silhouette allow you to dress effortlessly and relaxed for an every-day look. I can’t remember exactly where I got this top, but I found one that is similar here. The linked blouse is even better than this one because it bares sexy shoulders and has a detailed keyhole back.
Piko melted my heart with a swing dress in my all time favorite fall color: olive-green. This dress is so versatile and can be paired with leggings, jeggings, jeans, or with your perfect pair of tall boots. Your look can be effortless or dressed up with all your beloved accessories.
A fall essential is a neutral knit sweater. This one has beautiful stitching detail around the neckline and a high-low hem that only makes the sweater better. It is a comfortable, soft yarn that paired with a classic denim, charming skirt, or statement jacket makes the ideal fall outfit. Again, I have had this sweater for a few seasons now but found a similar one here.
Another versatile piece in my fall wardrobe is my Audrey 3+1 oversized, button-up shirt dress. This dress can be worn simply as a dress, over another dress, wrapped around your waist, with leggings, with a skirt, belted, with a jacket. . . (I could go on and on). Whichever way you choose, you can get the exact look you are going for with your ideal level of comfort in this dress. It is not flannel, so even better for the slightly warmer days of fall. P.S. it has pockets. I got this as a gift, so I am letting you down once again on finding this exact piece. However, I found a similar one here. Tip: You can always go trying on men’s oversized button-ups to find the perfect style for you & sometimes they are cheaper that way!
Let me know what pieces in your closet you can’t wait to pull out again this fall!
